TLC Derbyshire have been supplying The Chesterfield Royal and The Royal Derby hospitals for many years and recently we were contacted by DHU Healthcare who also operate out of these locations. They are a not-for-profit community interest company that, as part of the NHS frontline, lead urgent care within Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centres, GP and Primary Care Surgeries and out in local communities. They offer a full range of both ‘in and out of hours’ clinical specialist services, provided by a diverse workforce made up of medical, nursing, allied health and support teams. They frequently have to deal with children and contacted TLC Derbyshire to see if we could help.
We were only too pleased to help and went along to their base in Ashgate Manor, Chesterfield to meet with Dr Joanne Finney and Kirsty Osborn to present them with their first supply of three boxes of our wonderful teddies.
